Quality Control Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain quality reports and laboratory records.
- Conduct chemical analysis on finished goods and stability products.
- Maintain and oversee calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Follow multi-step documented procedures with precision.
- Develop and validate new chemical test methods, preparing study reports as required.
- Perform chemical testing based on USP/ISO/ASTM standards.
- Troubleshoot experiments and interpret data using theoretical knowledge.
- Provide material and technical support for laboratory operations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytical chemistry (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with GC (Gas Chromatography) and HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) (preferred).
- Familiarity with GLP/GCP/cGMP practices.
Skills & Certifications
- Strong understanding of chemical analysis and laboratory procedures.
- Experience with USP/ISO/ASTM-based chemical testing.
- Ability to develop, validate, and document chemical test methods.
- Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related Life Sciences.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations for drugs and medical devices is desirable.
- Training/certification in GLP and GMP compliance.
