Outside Sales Representative

Position Description: As a new sales professional, you will undergo comprehensive training, combining online classroom learning with hands-on field training and mentorship. Your dedicated field trainer will teach you the business sales cycle and advanced sales techniques. Prior sales experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right person. You will manage your local territory, engaging with small and medium-sized businesses across various industries. Your role involves in-person meetings with business owners, introducing them to leading supplemental insurance solutions tailored to their needs. You will also work individually with employees and conduct group presentations. Core Responsibilities: Utilize our Salesforce CRM to generate leads, acquire clients, and expand your network. Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text. Schedule and conduct client meetings to assess insurance needs. Participate in calls and meetings with your sales manager and team. Visit new businesses, build relationships, follow up on leads, and reservice clients. Build and nurture your client portfolio. Set sales targets with your sales team manager. Plan and adhere to your weekly schedule, submitting it to your sales manager. Record daily work stats and sales activity updates. Additional Qualifications: Successfully pass a thorough pre-employment background check. Hold a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation. Possess an active Health Life Insurance Producer license in your state (or willingness to obtain it; study course provided and state licensing fees reimbursed). Bachelors degree or at least 4 years of post-high school work experience (candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with relevant sales or athletic experience will be considered).
