Benefits/Payroll Specialist -ADP
-Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee's hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
-Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
-Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
-Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
-Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
-Assists with new-hire orientations.
-Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
-Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
-Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
-Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes.
-Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
-Assists with the open enrollment process.
-Administers the tuition reimbursement program.
-Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges. Required Skills/Abilities:
-Strong oral and written communication skills.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
-Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
-Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Required Education/Experience:
-Must have a valid TWIC card and driver's license.
-High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
-Minimum of two (2) years in a position in accounting, bookkeeping or HR with at least 1 year of payroll experience. And 1 year of benefits administration.
-Knowledge of state and federal tax laws.
-Must be able to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision with drive toward accomplishment, and to produce high quality work. Preferred Education/Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
-SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Benefits Administration Certified

Compensation 75k-90k plus bonus and all Benefits
