Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are hiring for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Boulevard, Irving, TX 75038 , offering $20/hour for a 6-month contract with strong potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity . In this role, you will be primarily responsible for entering and maintaining accurate invoice and payment data , ensuring proper coding within the accounting system , and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate has basic computer and office experience , strong data entry and Excel skills , accounting knowledge , and a high level of attention to detail with a customer service–focused mindset .

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain invoices and payments in the accounting system
• Ensure accurate coding and data integrity
• Support A/P, A/R, and G/L teams as needed
• Review income statements regularly
• Assist with audit preparation
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
• Provide cross-functional support during peak periods
• Perform additional duties as assigned

⏰ Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• 100% onsite role (not remote)
• Business casual dress code

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic computer and office applications, including 10-key data entry
• Knowledge of accounting principles; A/P, A/R, and G/L experience preferred
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and related tools
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational abilities
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, flexible, and proactive team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience
• Experience in a similar or warehouse environment
• Ability to work independently
• High school diploma or GED preferred
