Product Owner

Objective:

We are seeking a Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize features (stories and epics) for the development team, lead scrum ceremonies, and ensure releases align with business goals. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between stakeholders and the agile team, collaborating across multiple functions while executing the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog (epics, user stories), based on client needs and business value in partnership with a Senior Product Manager.

• Work closely with engineering to ensure a clear definition of requirements – answering questions, clarifying requirements, and removing roadblocks.

• Run sprint ceremonies; sprint planning, review, retrospective, and accept/reject completed work.

• Set expectations and plan product releases to ensure continuous delivery of valuable features. This includes enabling other departments (Support, Implementations and Sales Engineering) to use new releases.

• Gather user feedback through tools like Pendo and client interviews to inform enhancements Validate feature adoption meets intended value.

• Contribute to internal and external knowledge repositories to support self-service.

• Help track KPIs to measure product success and inform decisions.

Assist Senior Product Manager in compiling, maintaining, and communicating the product vision and roadmap for the next 12–18 months.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of product owner (manager) experience. Experience in Compliance or Financial Services is heavily preferred.

• Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies.

• Proven ability to lead tactical decisions and outcomes in partnership across Engineering teams.

• Understanding of software development processes and technologies.

• Experience working in an Agile environment, Scrum preferred.
