Director of Operations

We are looking for a full-time Director of Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of our company. At Mancomm, the Director of Operations will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing our procedures and coaching us to deliver daily results and grow the company in the process.
The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities, and an excellent leader who can plan and discover the most efficient ways to run our business.
Your goal: safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate extremely rapid scalability.
About You
- You are systems driven. You can operate as liaison with our CEO for operational activities and setting strategic goals. You have the skills and a knack for creating and improving systems, tracking employee progress, and measuring success. You understand data and financial information know how to measure it, and are in love with the idea of improving efficiency. You may be the sort of person that always has a spotless car.
- You are an ace in employee interaction and motivation. You can speak with them, evaluate them, and find the right places for them to maximize their value and growth. You have a no-BS attitude and can have hard conversations with them when necessary. Also, you should not be afraid to pull the trigger on letting someone go.
- You have experience in the tech industry. You haven’t just “worked” in the tech industry. You love the tech sector, understand its nuances, and want to help a tech startup hit unicorn status. You are flexible and adaptable and are willing to practice adaptability in our fast-moving, high-growth environment. You understand change is a part of daily work. You are comfortable keeping a fast-pace, working in some ambiguity, and striving to get clarity through excellent communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Director of Operations or equivalent position.
- Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines.
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.).
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM), including Teams.
- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.
