Epicor Kinetic Configurator Developer
GTN is seeking a talented and creative Epicor Configurator Developer with strong experience in Epicorâs Kinetic Configurator toolset. Candidates with extensive Classic Configurator experience will also be considered. The developer will be part of our implementation services team, working directly with clients to deliver effective and efficient Epicor Kinetic Configurator solutions that support their business needs.
This role involves gathering requirements, building configurators, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions, as well as mentoring users on how to manage and maintain their configurators.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to identify unique requirements for configurable products.

Develop functional requirement documentation and solution plans.

Design, build, test, and deliver configurator solutions that align with client needs.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients on configurator management.

Update and enhance configurators created by yourself or other developers.

Actively participate in discovery and implementation processes.

Maintain professional communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic Configurator development (2+ years preferred).

Strong understanding of manufacturing, ERP, and related business processes.

Ability to work directly with multiple customers and manage changing priorities.

Skilled in writing functional requirements and estimating project timelines.

Experience with configurator development using C# .

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Epicor-Specific Knowledge
-
Epicor Kinetic application, including Sales Management, Engineering, Job Management, and Pricing processes.

Creation of single-level configurators across multiple industries.

Kinetic Application Studio toolset, including:
-
Multi-page configurators with page and control validations.
-
Lookup tables and Configurator Control Data tables.
-
Configurator User Defined Methods, Method Rules, and Smart Strings.

Epicorâs Data Management Tool.
Optional Knowledge (Nice to Have)

Multi-level and enterprise configurators.

Inspection (Quality) configurators.

Experience with Epicor Vantage, Epicor 9, or Epicor 10 configurators.

Epicor Development Toolset:

Business Process Management (BPM).

Functions Management.

REST services integration with third-party apps.

eCommerce configurator integration.

General Expectations
-
Maintain current certifications in Epicor Operations, Technical Tools, and Configurator.

Travel up to 30% for client visits or conferences.

Track and report time daily in internal systems.

Provide accurate project documentation and status updates.

Collaborate with project managers and follow established PMO standards.

Participate in internal training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

Support sales efforts when needed (e.g., demos, technical input).
Additional Considerations

Candidates will undergo Epicor Kinetic certification as part of onboarding.

Must have valid U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
