Kennel Technician and Receptionist

Bones & Bacon Doggy Daycare is a pet care facility in Oak Cliff / West Dallas that offers boarding, daycare, and baths. We are looking for a part time Kennel Technician to ensure dog safety and comfort during their stay and provide excellent customer service to dog owners; in other words, play with the dogs and make sure they're being safe and having a good time!
There are 2 positions available for hire:
The KENNEL TECHNICIAN position is about 20 hours per week. The shifts are as follows:
Mondays 7:00am-11:00am, Tuesdays 7:00am-11:00am, Wednesdays 7:00am-11:00am, Thursdays 7:00am-11:00am, and Fridays 7:00am-11:00am.
The RECEPTIONIST/SHIFT LEADER position is about 27 hours per week. The shifts are as follows:
Mondays 7:00am-11:00am, Tuesdays 3:00pm-7:00pm, Wednesdays 12:00pm-7:00pm, Thursdays 7:00am-1:00pm, and Fridays 7:00am-1:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe interaction during play sessions
- Maintain a clean environment throughout the facility, including kennel, play, lobby, restroom, grooming, and storage areas
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions in person and over the phone
- Contribute to a fun and positive culture within the team
- Bathe the animals
- May perform other job duties as needed
Requirements
