Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, STABLE Must-Have: Candidates must have EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation experience Description: This position is for a contract Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The role requires working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit comprises 32 beds and is staffed with 150 personnel. There is one charge nurse and one co-charge nurse for each shift. Nurses accommodate a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2. A variety of equipment is utilized in this unit, including Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow. Candidates will be expected to perform typical procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. The ideal candidate is a team player who demonstrates a positive attitude. Dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs. T-shirts are not acceptable, but solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are permitted. Additional skills that are preferred include internal monitor placement competency and experience in a high-volume unit.
