Low Voltage Electrical Helper / Laborer

Automation Personnel Services is currently seeking a Low Voltage Electrical Helper / Laborer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for candidates with at least 6 months of electrical, low-voltage, construction, or industrial experience who are looking to build a long-term career in the controls and automation industry.

Pay Rate
$18-22 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday – Saturday

6:30AM to 5:30PM (OT required)

Low Voltage Electrical Helper / Laborer Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull low-voltage wire and cable.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit.
• Assist with installation of low-voltage control and automation systems.
• Support electricians and lead technicians with project tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Read and follow basic installation drawings and instructions.
• Assist with material handling and equipment staging.

Low Voltage Electrical Helper / Laborer Duties Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in electrical, low-voltage, construction, or industrial work.
• OSHA 10 Certification Required.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Ability to safely work on industrial construction sites.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work a Monday-Saturday schedule.
