Our company is currently seeking a Principal Software Engineer with specialized knowledge and experience in KDB, a powerful real-time database designed for capturing, storing, and analyzing large volumes of data. We require 1-5 highly skilled individuals who possess a strong background in KDB and possess exceptional leadership and project management abilities. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a profound understanding of the KDB language. In this position, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in driving the development and successful implementation of software solutions utilizing KDB to address our organization's unique requirements.

The resources will play a crucial role in our software architecture as it is one of the key technologies that the Principal Software Engineer will utilize, in conjunction with KDB, to drive the development and implementation of software solutions. They will need database background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions utilizing KDB to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software architecture with organizational goals.
• Demonstrate a profound understanding of the KDB language and best practices for optimizing database performance.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to KDB and database performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in KDB and related technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with KDB and its applications in real-time data processing.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing software development projects.
• In-depth knowledge of database concepts and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with additional programming languages and technologies is a plus.
