Engineering Job Description
- Build and test solar distillation modules using real and synthetic produced water
- Collect and analyze field samples from the Permian Basin
- Conduct experiments to evaluate the effects of oil-related compounds and chemical additives
- Contribute to education module development for K-12 and undergraduate outreach
- Collaborate on publications, conference presentations, and Lab Night demonstrations
- Civil and Mechanical Engineering majors preferred
- Other majors (e.g., computer science, chemistry) are welcome to contribute to experiment
- apparatus development, engineering module development, and outreach support
- Must be dependable, curious, and available, average 5 hours/week for Fall/Spring
