Automation Technician
Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for Automation Technicians to monitor the status of the robots that produce and package baked goods.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors robots to ensure they are working properly and respond to issues as they arise.
- Schedule maintenance on the robots per procedures.
- Performs safety checks on equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Performs and consistently complies with the processes, policies, and procedures.
Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of geometrical coordinates systems.
- Understanding of electricity: voltage vs current etc.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic devices and how they operate. ex: relays, encoders, MPCB, VFD, and contactors.
- Understands how to use a multimeter and able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of PLC and CPU controllers.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
- Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds.
