Securities Services Operations Transformation Test Manger, VP
Join J.P. Morgan Securities Services as Vice President, Securities Services Operations Transformation Test Manager. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic testing transformation initiatives across the Securities Services line of business (LOB), collaborating with global teams to modernize testing practices through automation, AI, and advanced analytics. You will lead change management, process standardization, and innovation efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering measurable impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a vision and roadmap for transforming testing practices, focusing on automation, AI, and advanced analytics.
- Identify and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and quality.
- Lead change initiatives, upskill teams, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Establish standardized, scalable testing processes and best practices across products and regions.
- Communicate transformation goals, progress, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the impact of transformation initiatives on quality, speed, and cost.
- Collaborate closely with business, technology, and operations teams to ensure testing transformation supports broader organizational objectives.
- Create detailed test plans aligned with business objectives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and risk mitigation.
- Champion the adoption and optimization of automation tools and emerging technologies (including AI), driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in testing processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse global testing team, promoting collaboration, high performance, and a positive culture.
- Manage testing budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and maximizing value.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Articulate and drive a strategic vision for testing transformation.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in functional and regression testing within the financial services industry, ideally with exposure to Global Custody, ETFs, Trade Processing, Payments, Lending, Direct Custody, Asset Servicing, and Tax Services.
- Apply proficiency in Agile methodologies and adapt to evolving project management frameworks, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Gather requirements, document user stories, and execute test scripts to meet complex project goals.
- Leverage automation tools such as UI Path and other RPA solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Utilize advanced skills in data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView) for creating actionable reports and dashboards.
- Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills; conduct stakeholder forums, provide clear updates, and foster transparency and collaboration.
- Coordinate tasks, resources, and timelines; apply project management tools and techniques.
- Lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams, promoting high performance, collaboration, and a positive culture.
- Hold a bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrate work experience in Capital Markets or Securities Services Business.
- Possess Project / Agile methodology qualification.
- Manage teams and address people concerns effectively.
- Apply familiarity with AI-driven testing solutions and emerging technologies to drive innovation and transformation in testing practices.
- Design visually impactful presentations using tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, and other visualization platforms.
- Hold a preferred AI testing certification.
