responsibilities:
Required Skills: Robust proficiency in Tableau and Excel required. Must have proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL and ETL techniques in tools such as Tableau, MS Power Query, or Alteryx to clean, blend, and automate complex datasets. In addition to data preparation, the ideal candidate is able to build engaging and informative dashboard views in Tableau. Candidates should have a mix of technical developer skills and applied analytics skills. Nice to Have Skills: Familiarity with Real Estate/Facilities applications such as Archibus, CoStar, and Corrigo a major plus, but definitely not required. Experience presenting work to leadership-level audiences; polished verbal and written communication skills. Education/ Experience Required: End-to-end experience wrangling data and designing dashboards in Tableau is required. The ideal candidate must have experience cleaning and blending large datasets from multiple, unique sources. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, etc.). Master's degree preferred. Typical day in the Role: Working on site in Westlake, TX, as part of the CRE Strategy Reporting team, this individual will be seated with the Sr. Manager, Analytics Developer ) as well as the Director, Real Estate Strategy. This is a small, dynamic team often tackling ad hoc projects for CRE Leadership and the Executive Committee, while also managing day-to-day business intelligence functions for CRE Strategy and CRE's internal clients. A typical day includes informal collaboration with the team and independent work. Occasional meetings with project stakeholders will occur to gather business requirements for new projects, reporting milestones, and delivering work. Interview Process: 1st round performed via TEAMs virtual. 2nd rounds will be onsite in person (Westlake, TX) Selling Points: The work performed by CRE Strategy often makes a significant impact and has visibility with leadership at the firm.
