Siter-Neubauer & Associates is seeking experienced A/C Equipment Mechanics to support a  Government Contract opportunity with the VA Hospital.  We are looking for professionals with strong commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience who can work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job summary

The A/C Equipment Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems within a large healthcare facility environment. This role requires experience working with chillers, mechanical/electrical/pneumatic controls, preventive maintenance, and refrigerant systems. Candidates must be able to work independently, read blueprints and schematics, and safely perform physically demanding work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Mandatory Qualifications

Candidates must have ALL of the following:

• Active Texas HVAC License
• Siemens Controls Training Certificate
• OSHA Certification
• Minimum 4 years of Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration experience
• Experience with:
• Commercial HVAC systems
• Chillers up to 500 tons
• Refrigeration systems
• Heating & ventilation systems
• Mechanical, electrical & pneumatic controls
• Refrigerant leak detection and repair
• Preventive maintenance
• Blueprint/schematic reading
• Ability to perform heavy physical work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
