Quality Inspector
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Payrate: $25 to $28 per hour
Location: Arlington, WA
Shift: 3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday
Overview
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to support dimensional inspection using CMM equipment and precision measuring instruments. We welcome candidates with limited experience who are eager to learn- training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CMM equipment to inspect and measure parts using existing programs.
- Read and interpret aerospace/commercial drawings, tolerances, and customer requirements.
- Compare CMM results to engineering specifications and models.
- Document inspection results, update manufacturing orders, and process NCR/DMR as needed.
- Perform manual inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other basic tools.
- (Once trained/certified) Perform magnetic particle and Eddy Current testing.
- Review outside processing certifications and verify final product appearance.
- Apply GD&T principles and statistical sampling methods.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, tooling, and manufacturing teams.
- Maintain organized inspection records and support training/production flow.
- Monitor CMM programs and assist with minor online edits under supervision.
- Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Required (willing to train):
- Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred (not required):
- 2–5 years of CMM or inspection experience in a regulated industry.
- GD&T understanding or related coursework/trade school training.
- CAD experience or hands-on experience in aerospace inspection.

- Requires regular walking, lifting 30–40 lbs, and standing/bending for long periods.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and fumes within OSHA limits- safety training and equipment provided.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
