Assistant Car Wash Manager

An Assistant Car Wash Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our car wash operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Car Wash Manager to oversee daily activities, manage staff, and ensure customers receive outstanding service. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for the automotive industry strong leadership skills, and a drive to succeed.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist the Car Wash Manager in supervising day-to-day operations of the car wash facility.
2. Help manage a team of car wash technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
3. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service; handle any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of all car wash services and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for employees and customers.
6. Assist in managing inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate levels are maintained for seamless operations.
7. Contribute to the marketing and promotion of car wash services.
8. Participate in the recruitment and training of new employees.
9. Ensure the car wash equipment and facility are maintained in excellent condition, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in business management or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the car wash or automotive service industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Willingness / ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
