RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Case Mgmt

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• No weekends required
• Patient ratio of 1:30 RN to patient
• Must have minimum 1 year bedside case management experience
• Post acute care knowledge required
• Experience with Meditech or HCA systems required
• Throughput experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for difficult conversations with families, patients, and physicians
• Must be adaptable and proactive
• Work with EMR systems including Meditech/Midas
• Responsibilities include discharge planning and care progression
• Use standard computer and office equipment
• Dress code requires navy scrubs with white lab coat or business casual with white lab coat
• Closed-toe shoes required, no crocs or fake nails allowed

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center offering a full range of inpatient services across multiple specialty units including ICU, Observation, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, Neurology, and Orthopedics. The case management department consists of 15 registered nurses and 15 social workers working collaboratively to ensure optimal patient care coordination and discharge planning. The facility maintains modern technology and equipment to support efficient case management operations.
