Description:

Caitlin Morgan is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to work in our finance department. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions in our insurance business. This role will offer a great opportunity for growth as the organization continues its expansion goals.

Captives Accountant Job Duties:

• Prepare financial statements under local GAAP in an accurate and timely manner for portfolio of clients
• Reconcile and post insurance transitions
• Track and post claim activity
• Valuate Investment portfolio
• Assist in annual audits for clients
• Assist in regulatory filings: Home domicile, NAIC
• Maintain client contact as needed
• Assist in preparing materials for board meetings

Captives Accountant Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified or part qualified
• 5 years of captive insurance experience or insurance accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills
• Detail Oriented
• Excellent problem-solving skills
