Job Details

Our client, a top ENR contractor, is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations, safety, personnel, and business development within the Northern California region. This leadership role is responsible for driving project execution, client relationships, and workforce development while ensuring operational excellence and financial performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead operations and project delivery across the region.
  • Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality and teamwork.
  • Oversee project acquisition, estimating, and procurement strategies.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and mentor project teams, ensuring long-term leadership continuity.
  • Build and maintain strong client and engineer relationships.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large projects or multiple teams.
  • Strong background in financial management, estimating, and scheduling.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
