Locums Neurosurgery Physician
We are seeking a Locums Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to provide coverage in a trauma and acute care neurosurgery practice with an elective component at an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center on the South Texas Gulf Coast. This opportunity offers a flexible block schedule, strong APP support, and the ability to work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility while enjoying a coastal lifestyle.
Position Highlights
Trauma and acute care neurosurgery with elective case volume
ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center
Supported by a full-time, experienced Advanced Practice Provider
Per diemn opportunity with 4-7 flexible, 24 hour shifts per month
No additional call requirement
Practice Setting
New, state-of-the-art hospital
Advanced ER, OR, and inpatient facilities
Accredited Stroke Center with strong subspecialty support
Collaborative, team-based environment
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and APP support
Ensure high-quality patient care and documentation
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
Current experience in trauma neurosurgery
Compensation & Benefits
$4600 Per Shift
Travel, lodging, and transportation fully covered
Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided
