What you’ll do

As an experienced BTP and AI Solution Architect, you will lead the design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

As part of the Customer Engagement & Adoption (CE&A) – Global Delivery Hub, you will help global customers accelerate AI adoption across SAP landscapes, enabling intelligent, AI-powered business processes.

This role combines strategic customer engagement, solution architecture ownership, and hands-on technical leadership, translating business challenges into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

• Partner with customer stakeholders to define their BTP and AI strategy, lead discovery workshops, and architect scalable, secure, enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic AI solutions aligned to measurable business outcomes and drive customer adoption from PoC through enterprise-wide rollout.
• Develop reference architectures and use cases leveraging BTP, RAG, multi-agent orchestration, A2A, MCP, and hybrid AI patterns.
• Build solutions leveraging SAP BTP, AI Core, Joule, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP integration services.
• Collaborate across customer, partner, and SAP teams to deliver customer AI transformation programs.

What you Bring:

• Solid understanding of end-to-end solution architecture , including integrating SAP and non-SAP systems for seamless data exchange and AI-driven workflows.
• Build solutions leveraging SAP BTP , SAP Build , AI Core, SAP Joule , SAP HANA, S/4HANA , and SAP integration service
• Proven experience designing and delivering AI-driven applications and agentic solutions using ML and SAP Joule Generative AI on SAP BTP (AI Core, AI Launchpad, GenAI Hub).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Joule Generative AI techniques, prompt engineering, and embedding strategies (e.g., HANA Cloud Vector Engine).
• Strong expertise in building scalable, cloud-native applications using CAP (Node.js), CDS, and SAP HANA, and embedding AI into SAP applications via APIs (OData/REST) and integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of ML Ops practices , including model lifecycle management, automation, performance tuning, and operational readiness.
• Strong foundation in SAP BTP security , ensuring compliant, secure, and high-performing applications.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and working with APIs and data formats (JSON, YAML).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 151,900 - 340,900 . The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
