- Tooling and Equipment: Specify, procure, and oversee the installation of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and specialized tooling for the assembly floor.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with quality control, supply chain, and design engineering to transition new products smoothly from prototype to full production.
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited university.
- Core Experience: Ten or more years of professional experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering within a complex production environment.
- Hands On Expertise: Extensive time spent on the production floor directly implementing process improvements, troubleshooting assembly lines, and collaborating with technicians.
- Industry Domain: Proven experience in the aerospace or automotive sectors, with a deep understanding of standard manufacturing regulations, strict quality systems, and production tracking.
- Ruggedized Computing: Experience working with the assembly and testing ruggedized computing hardware or highly durable electronics is a major asset.
