As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based in Richmond, TX, you will develop and oversee behavior intervention plans primarily for children with autism and clients across various age groups within school-based and home settings. Your role involves collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that foster meaningful progress and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments and Skill Acquisition Assessments
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data
- Provide direct supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Train and mentor RBTs and other staff members
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent care
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in behavior analysis
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based practices
- Proficiency in Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated team collaboration and training/mentoring experience
- Commitment to ethical compliance in behavioral services
