About the Position

The shift is three 12-hour days. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. Travel experience is preferred. Charting will be done using an electronic system. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS*, and NIHSS*. The patient ratio is typically 1:6. Weekend coverage is required for half of the scheduled shifts. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Nurses will care for a variety of patient diagnoses and conditions. Interdisciplinary support will be provided by various health professionals. The unit consists of 36 rooms with a total of 36 beds. Additional skills required include managing ports, tracheostomy care, and wound care. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Candidates should be prepared for an adaptive and dynamic work environment.
