CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Weatherford, TX 76086
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – CT Department
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 7, 2025
• End Date: November 6, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, Friday–Sunday (weekends), 06:00–18:00 with 30-minute lunch
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel/contract healthcare job)

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (2+ years preferred)
• Current ARRT (CT) certification – Required
• Texas Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Required
• BLS certification – Required
• Experience with GE CT scanners (32 slice Rev EVO), Toshiba 32 slice, and GE PACS preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech RIS and digital imaging equipment is a plus
• Ability to float as needed and work independently on weekends
• Professional appearance: gray or solid-colored scrubs (not provided), clean and neat grooming, no artificial nails, visible piercings (other than ears) not permitted, tattoos covered when possible

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and X-rays per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including GE and Toshiba CT scanners, digital portables, and C-Arms
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Meditech RIS
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other imaging areas as needed and participate in on-call rotation
• Uphold all hospital policies regarding safety, infection control, and professional conduct
