AWS Devops Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AWS Devops Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidates must have strong expertise in AWS tools like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline, along with foundational skills in Git, Linux, and Docker.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS Devops Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments leveraging AWS tools and DevOps best practices.

• Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring solutions.

• Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and related technologies for scalable application delivery.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and high-velocity application delivery.

• Maintain secure and efficient cloud environments by applying best practices for configuration, version control, and automation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 5–7 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in AWS DevOps engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and tools such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CloudWatch.

• Proficiency in foundational DevOps skills including Git, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
