Eaton's ESSG PDCAD Power Distrib Control Assy Div division is currently seeking a OPEX (Continuous Improvement) Manager. This is a unique opportunity to lead the effort to build a team from the ground up as operations in El Paso get started! Relocation assistance is available from within the United States!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $116250.03 - $170500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for working with site leadership and for co-developing the continuous improvement plans within the specified area of responsibility utilizing EBS Strategy Deployment and ntegrated Deck Building.
  • Responsible for execution of the key breakthrough continuous improvement projects (key needle mover projects) within the specified area of responsibility, including the achievement of stretch performance goals to achieve WCM (World Class Manufacturing)
  • Champion Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) tools and processes and use in a disciplined and rigorous way to achieve stretch performance goals while building organizational capability of business and CI team.
  • Responsible for sustaining the results achieved through follow-up reviews, building of local organizational capability and deployment of Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).
  • Support annual assessments including Operations Assessment (OpA). Identify with divisional and site leadership appropriate Opportunities for Advancement and improvement action plans.
  • Ongoing mentoring, evaluation and development of business and plant CI Team, against the ELSS functional competencies.
  • Support the deployment of ELSS tools by leading RIE level 3 or 4.
  • Champion structured problem solving including the application of PDCA to build organizational capability, shape the culture and get results.
  • Develop OpA - ELSS Maturity Roadmap.
  • Facilitate Plant EBS Strategy Deployment Event.
  • Train, deploy and monitor CIF implementation and maturity using the CIF roadmap.
  • Build CI Competency (“ELSS Professionals”, “CI Professionals” and tool SMEs).
  • Lead CI Council.
  • Drive Site Cost Out, CI and BI Project Portfolio
  • Provide leadership in the industrialization of New Products introduced through the PROLaunch process
  • Direct capital budgets for the internal and external products and administer necessary manufacturing controls for cost
  • Maintain a safe work environment by providing a facility, design of manufacturing methods, tools and equipment that comply with federal regulations and Eaton Safety Process requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
  • Five (5)+ years' experience in a Manufacturing/Systems/Continuous Improvement/Industrial Engineering function
  • Two (2)+ years' experience in a supervisor or leadership role
  • Two (2)+ years of Data Analytics experience
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred:

  • 5 years of experience in problem solving methods (e.g. Six Sigma, 8-D root cause analysis and associated statistical tools) Quality Systems
  • Lean Expert
  • Power BI experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Electrical Industry
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
