The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000, depending on level of experience.

Job Description

ZenCase, a SurePoint® Company, is a law firm practice management software that enables lawyers to work more efficiently by managing their contacts, matters, time, and billing in one place. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll spend most of your time working in Javascript building new features with our team.

This role is only open to applicants from Jacksonville, FL, or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

· Take ownership of your projects and have a voice in how and what gets built.

· Contribute to various parts of our product, which consists of a Ruby on Rails backend and Ember.js frontend.

· Help own operations, reliability, availability, and security of our application.

· Collaborate with your fellow team of developers.

· Engage in a healthy culture of code reviewing and pairing alongside a team of smart, thoughtful, like-minded developers.

Requirements

· 7-10 years of experience working in frontend JavaScript technologies.

· Solid oral and written communication skills with the ability to express complex ideas clearly.

· Intermediate to advanced experience operating and maintaining production systems in a Linux and public cloud environment.

· Familiarity with Netlify.

· Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts and ecosystem.

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to solve complex challenges and analyze potential future issues.

· Extremely responsive with the ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.

· Advanced experience in developing, testing, and contributing to Ember.js preferred.

· Familiarity with major relational database (PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server etc.) and/or AWS preferred.

· Familiarity with law firm billing and accounting and law firm practice concepts preferred.
