Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer near Richardson, TX for a 6-month contract, with the potential to be extended to 12 months or become a permanent employee.

If you have Angular experience and a solid understanding of key web app design principles, you could be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges.

We are a small company dispersed across the U.S. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive.

This is an onsite role in Richardson, TX and requires daily commuting. This person will need to hold an active Top Secret Clearance or higher. Those without clearances cannot be considered at this time.

About You

• You live near are willing to commute daily to Richardson, TX.
• You have 5+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, in client side and/or server side.
• You are a proficient Angular developer.
• You have experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+) and/or expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++.
• You enjoy working closely with both internal and external design teams to ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
• You have an active Top Secret security clearance or higher with the DoD.

$104,000 - $151,000 a year

Rocket Communications determines the salary range for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Our base salary offers are mainly determined by levels of experience.
