Materials Planner

Emerson's Test and Measurement Demand Planning Team is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Demand Planner (Level 4) to join our fast-paced, multinational environment in Austin, TX. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across different business units, playing a critical role in driving our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to be part of a dynamic team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the development and implementation of the Business Unit (BU) Demand Framework: Oversee the end-to-end process for capturing, forecasting, and prioritizing demand within the business unit, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and resource allocation strategies - Participate actively and effectively in the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and business strategy. - Provide detailed analysis and reports to support decision-making, highlighting variances, trends, and forecast accuracy metrics. - Make informed decisions and recommendations based upon strong business acumen and insights including company's products, customers, and competitive landscape. - Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to harmonize demand planning practices. - Act as a key contact point for demand planning within the organization, effectively communicating across teams and levels. - Support ad hoc projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems. ________________________________________ **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field.
