Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Managing Partner

Position Overview

The Director of Operations will serve as a key leader overseeing daily operations for a boutique commercial real estate investment and management firm. This hands-on role supports the CEO in driving efficiency, maintaining property and tenant excellence, and ensuring strong financial performance across a growing portfolio of retail and mixed-use assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Managed daily property and business operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

• Oversaw vendor relationships, service contracts, and property maintenance standards.

• Supported leasing, tenant buildouts, and move-in/move-out coordination.

• Assisted with financial reporting, budgeting, and expense management.

• Maintained compliance with leases, insurance, and regulatory requirements.

• Partnered with ownership on process improvements, acquisitions, and portfolio growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in retail or mixed-use commercial real estate operations.

• Strong understanding of property management, leasing, and financial oversight.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management systems.

• High integrity and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment.
