Branch Manager - Pavement Marking

As we expand, we’re looking for a Branch Manager to lead our local operations, build a trusted reputation, and foster a strong team culture.
Job Summary: The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving the success of our pavement marking branch by managing daily operations, building customer relationships, and leading a team of dedicated road striping professionals. This individual will have a solid background in construction estimating and project management, with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset. Through exceptional leadership and a focus on quality, the Branch Manager will grow our branch’s presence, becoming the go-to provider for high-quality pavement marking services in the area.
Requirements
● Customer Relationship Management:
○ Build and nurture long-term relationships with paving companies, contractors, and other key clients.
○ Serve as the face of the branch, establishing a reputation for reliability, quality, and professionalism in pavement marking services.
● Business Development:
○ Actively seek new business opportunities within the region, focusing on expanding the customer base through reputation and proven service.
○ Leverage industry knowledge and contacts to identify projects where our services are in demand.
● Team Leadership:
○ Recruit, train, and lead a team of ethical, skilled, and motivated road striping professionals.
○ Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment that promotes high standards and accountability.
○ Oversee shift scheduling and ensure crews are prepared to deliver on project commitments with minimal risk.
● Project Management and Estimating:
○ Utilize estimating skills to assess job requirements accurately, calculate project costs, and develop competitive bids.
○ Monitor project timelines, material usage, and labor costs to meet profitability targets and quality standards.
● Safety and Compliance:
○ Champion safety initiatives, ensuring all crew members follow OSHA and company safety guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries.
○ Conduct regular safety meetings, reviews, and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in the construction or pavement marking industry, with at least 3 years in an estimator, project manager, or leadership role.
● Proven experience building and managing customer relationships with a focus on high-quality service and trust.
● Strong estimating skills, with experience in construction or pavement marking projects.
● Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate a team toward high performance.
● Knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and safety best practices in construction or roadwork environments.
● Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management (A plus, though not required)
· Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Prior experience in pavement marking or road construction.
Familiarity with estimating software and scheduling tools
