Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst at First Care Medical, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of healthcare data to provide insights and support decision-making processes. You will work closely with our medical team and other departments to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze healthcare data from various sources, including electronic health records, claims data, and patient surveys
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of data
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in data to provide insights and recommendations for improving patient care and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with medical team and other departments to understand data needs and develop reports and dashboards to visualize data and track key performance indicators
- Conduct data quality checks and ensure data integrity and security
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and recommend new tools and techniques to improve data analysis processes
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Train and support staff on data collection and analysis processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and regulations is a plus
