• Position Type: Locum Tenens (Travel RN Contract)
• Facility: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF Division)
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (August 4, 2025 – November 3, 2025)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $1960

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Iowa or compact state preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, ideally in rehabilitation nursing, acute care, or hospital settings
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilities

Rehab RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical findings, and adjust care plans to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, discharge planning, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital policies and standards of care
