Engineering Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Work on Application Programming Interface Management (“APIM”) strategy and roadmap initiatives, including for real time payment and processing platforms. Build and support the Apigee platform in both on premise and Hybrid models. Work directly with Engineering, cloud hosting, public cloud and other ecosystem partners to build and maintain a stable, performant and scalable Apigee platform. Troubleshoot issues though all phases of the platform lifecycle, including design deployment, partner onboarding, and customer support. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and implement automated solutions. Make evaluative judgment on complicated or unique situations based on analysis of multiple sources of information. Work with partners to understand and implement the business requirements while maintaining and evolving a standard build practice for consistency and predictability. Interface with Observability tools to develop insights to the platform and proactively identify potential problems. Document, Publish and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and produce a working knowledge base. Develop and maintain a certificate management tracking, procurement and installation process to ensure secure partner communications are maintained. Work with capacity management tools to ensure that the platform infrastructure scales and meets the increasing business demands. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Digital Software Engineering Intermediate Analyst, Assistant Consultant, IT Analyst, Project Engineer, or related position designing, implementing and supporting a large scale, API based payment processing system. 5 years of experience must include: API management platforms including Apigee and DataPower, both on premise and hybrid models; Cloud Technologies: AWS, GCS, OpenShift, Kubernetes Scripting, Command Line Unix, Automated Deployment Tools (Artifactory and Github); Secure Network Topology and Mutual TLS Security Configurations; Data communication, information security, data mining; High volume and low latency systems environment; Design metrics and analytics tools; Benchmarking activities for best practices identification and related reporting; Observability tools including App Dynamics, Splunk Logging, Apigee Analytics, and Grafana for platform monitoring for proactive identification of potential problems and insight development.
