Heavy Duty Truck Technician
Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire a Truck Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic for our BRAND NEW facility we built in San Antonio, Texas . No weekends or nights required. ITP has been in business for over 80 years and has expanded to 37 stores in 12 states. Pay range: $24.00 - $38.00/hour, depending on skillset. CDL, diagnostic expertise, and experience on all makes and models is highly desired.
Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic
The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
- Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work independently, as well as part of a team
Preference given to candidates who are self-motivated, detail oriented , have 2 years of experience within the heavy-duty industry, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.
