Position Overview:We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a full-time locum tenens assignment at Locum Square in Sherman, TX. This opportunity offers a structured clinical environment with a steady patient flow, focused on delivering high-quality psychiatric care to an adult population. Providers will manage a mix of acute stabilization cases and ongoing treatment plans Address: Sherman, TX Assignment Type: Locum TenensDuration: 3 Months (potential to extend)Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing)Schedule:Monday through FridayFull-Time, 8:30 AM 4:30 PMPatient Population & Case Mix:Patient Mixture: Adult 55%, 30% Children, 15% Geriatric 10-13 Patient Cases Per DayMix of acute psychiatric stabilization and ongoing careCases include, but are not limited to:Acute psychiatric stabilizationDiagnostic evaluationsSubstance Use DisordersPTSDDepression and mood disordersConsistent patient volume in a well-supported settingProvider Requirements:Board-Certified PsychiatristMinimum of 2 years of psychiatric experienceActive, unrestricted medical license (Texas preferred)Comfortable working in a behavioral health center setting Travel & Lodging:Mileage reimbursement providedIf this opportunity aligns with your interests, feel free to reach out so we can discuss the role in more detail and schedule a quick call.
