Payroll Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire)

Dallas | Remote/Hybrid | $28–$31/hr.

Imprimis Group is supporting one of our long-standing, global clients in the search for a detail-driven Payroll Coordinator to support their Total Rewards & Payroll function. This isn’t the typical “run payroll and push buttons” role — payroll is fully outsourced. What they need is someone who can own the process , keep the trains moving, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as the main point of contact between the organization and the outsourced payroll provider.
• Process payroll changes, updates, and corrections in Workday.
• Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy before deadlines.
• Track and manage monthly contractor pay and process 5–20 manual invoices each month.
• Monitor state/local compliance notices and resolve or escalate when needed.
• Communicate with international payroll partners (Canada and South Africa) and escalate when follow-up is required.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years handling payroll coordination or HRIS/payroll data changes.
• Workday experience (even basic navigation is fine — just not brand-new), ADP highly desired.
• Strong Excel and comfort working from spreadsheets.
• A calm, steady communicator who follows through.
