Food Runner

The Dead Rabbit is looking for a Food Runner to join our growing team at The Dead Rabbit ATX! Food Runners are critical partners in assisting Servers and Bartenders in delivering food items to customers in a timely and hospitable manner, ensuring the food items are appropriately made and served, customers have everything they need to enjoy their choices, and clearing dirty bus tubs and replenishing with cleaned service ware as needed. FOOD RUNNER ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Embody our core values.
  
• Know the floor and bar plans and customer positions, and drop food items accordingly.
  
• Understand table maintenance, ensuring customers are set up for success.
  
• Stock the bars with the necessary product and service tools and maintain them throughout the shift.
  
• Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing and daily versus weekly cleaning tasks.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Food Runner areas.
  
• Adherence to The Dead Rabbit s team member handbook.
  
• Perform related duties as requested by leadership teams.
  
• Be a team player working with other team members when needed or required.
  
• Be an effective communicator post, during, and pre-shift, alerting team members to operational issues or concerns.
  

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must have a hospitality orientation and experience in similar roles.
  
• Candidates must be hungry to learn and grow.
  
• Candidates must be ambitious, disciplined, and enthusiastic
  
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and carry/balance multiple items during service, including glass racks, ice buckets, and glassware.
  
• Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Candidates must have the requisite schedule availability.
  
• Candidates must be able to take constructive criticism and work within an engaged, collaborative, and accountable culture and team environment.
  
• Candidates must be able to stand for long periods.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($15.00) plus tips
