TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Operating Room with preferred travel experience License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology is required. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room. Shifts are scheduled for days, Monday to Friday, with a rotating day off. Call is required for 1-2 shifts each 6 weeks. Experience in Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and eye surgery is a bonus. Staffing ratios are 1 patient to 1 nurse during shifts. The unit cares for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Daily census averages around 45 patients. There are 14 operating rooms available. Candidate should possess skills in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, total joint replacement, and laparoscopic procedures. Experience in robotic surgeries is preferred. This position offers a collaborative environment within the operating room team. Candidates must be flexible and able to adapt to varying patient needs. It is crucial to maintain high standards of patient care and safety protocols.
