How you'll make an impact- Internally focused, contributes to the creation and development of carrier market programs concentrated on market relations, creation of panels for product support, qualifying insurance carriers, and establishing commission terms and conditions.
- Managing, monitoring, and negotiating renewal of existing carrier agreements
- Acting as an advocate for existing client carriers
- Reviewing carrier commission schedules and seeking most favorable plans for division branch network.
- Working closely with regional/branch network in regard to locally administered plans and helping to navigate national plans
- Working with business niches in developing enhanced compensation plans with key markets
- Measuring and reporting on the various forms of compensation paid to AJG by insurance carriers.
- Working closely with our carrier contacts to develop new and enhance existing compensation plans
- Reviewing compensation plans of recent acquisitions to work toward integrating into existing AJG/Division plans
- Supporting contracted client in using and accessing the carrier platform
- May contributes to the development of functional strategy.
- Develops solutions based on subject expertise and occasionally represents the department or function at a broader level.
- May provide guidance to lower level staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.
Preferred:
- Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
Behaviors:
- Able to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
