Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN
Position Purpose
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides services under the general supervision of the Occupatinal Therapist, including assisting with patient assessment, treating individual patients and patient groups; delivering home program, patient and family instructions; participating in family and team conferences; conducting equipment inventory, maintenance and orders; and documenting services according to departmental and hospital standards.
Position Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, certification by AOTA.
Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the State Board of Medica; Examiners or State Board of Occupational Therapy.
Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills with minimal guidance.
