Warehouse Operations Operator
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit down, picker, stand up), conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials.
- Maintain records as necessary.
- Develop skills in basic tasks and procedures within a specific skill area.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Work under general to limited supervision.
- Perform tasks according to prescribed steps.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in English.
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Operate in a metrics-driven environment.
- Utilize general computer skills.
Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience or related training
- Basic skills training in material handling and management, logistics, or manufacturing production
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses, training, or certifications.
Skills & Certifications
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate various equipment safely.
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptability to changing work environments.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting or moving items over 50 lbs
- Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather and exposure to mechanical parts and airborne particles.
