Electrical Engineer
EMC Renewables is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team committed to driving innovation in the renewables and environment sector. As an Electrical Engineer at EMC Renewables, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components that support our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. This position requires a strong technical background in photovoltaic plants. This includes the design and sizing of electrical circuits, power distribution systems, and the integration of inverters and transformers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, adhere to quality standards, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and solving problems, guiding projects from concept through to completion. Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for renewable energy projects.
- Review contractual technical specifications and performance guarantees.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare of Bill of Quantities with support from a drafting designer.
- Test, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical designs to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations during project execution.
- Prepare detailed documentation including specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Provide technical specifications for equipment and installation.
- Collaborate with Owner's Engineering and suppliers.
- Provide on-site supervision to ensure compliance with the latest versions of Electrical Engineering documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the renewables sector.
- Proficient in electrical design software and modeling tools.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, and battery storage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel.
