Veterinary Technician Assistant - Dentistry and Oral Surgery

About You

Role Responsibilities:

As a Dentistry Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will work closely with the veterinary dentistry team to support both patient care and procedure preparation. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient intake and procedure setup

• Supporting Fear Free handling techniques before, during, and after procedures

• Maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the dental suite and hospital

• Preparing, sterilizing, and organizing dental instruments and equipment

• Ensuring proper stocking of dentistry-related supplies

• Assisting with basic husbandry and patient monitoring when needed

• Supporting accurate record keeping and communication with the team

• Other tasks as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Has knowledge of basic veterinary practices
• Comfortable handling animals using Fear Free techniques (Fear Free certification is a plus)
• Able to assist in veterinary medical procedures
• Recent experience in a veterinary practice highly preferred
• Schedule flexibility required
