Responsibilities:

• Splice and test single-mode and ribbon fiber for ISP and OSP installations
• Work with high-count OSP fiber and color codes
• Perform break fixes, troubleshooting, and validate splice records and documentation
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Furcate and manage large strand count fiber (3,456–6,912)
• Operate and interpret results from OTDR and OLTS testing equipment
• Follow all safety protocols, site standards, and project timelines

Requirements:

• Hands-on fiber splicing experience (1+ year in a dedicated splicing role) required
• Background in structured cabling, installation, termination, and splicing
• Familiarity with EXFO OTDR and OLTS testing tools
• OSHA 10 certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces as needed
• Must pass background check and drug test

Schedule:

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights or weekends when projects required

Pay Rate:

• $37-$50/Hourly
