Senior Purchasing Specialist(Bilingual)

As we expand to meet demand, we need driven, team-oriented players to join us. We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a (Sr.) Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase food ingredients, supplies, and equipment for the company; Follow proper documentation and reporting requirements; Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams on procure to pay process and new product development process.
- Negotiate and complete contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery terms.
- Review purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental policies.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
- Maintain proper inventory levels to avoid stock-outs while minimizing excess inventory.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, prices and delivery conditions; Assess supply risk in anticipation of future material availability.
- Manage all aspects of relationships with authorized vendor partners, including evaluating vendor fit on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Over 3 years of Purchasing and Inventory Management experience
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with Texas procurement regulations

Preferred Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
