Class A CDL Delivery Driver (8969)

Coastal Welding Supply- an AWG Company, has an immediate opening for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Baytown, TX. This position requires a Class A CDL with HazMat & Air Brakes endorsements.

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and storing gas and liquid cylinders and other hard goods supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches, and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

**Out of town routes, requiring 3-4 overnight stays per week. Hotel provided. Home on the weekends. Evening meal per diem provided**

Duties: This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storing gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork, including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class A CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrakes endorsement, or the ability to obtain both endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Background Assessment, and company-administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers.
